passenger door glass

by vcab1 » Sun Nov 28, 2010 4:03 pm

when the passenger door is opened and then shut
the top of the door glass sticks out, i have to lower the window
then close it again for the glass to sit in the correct location.
i just want the door to close with glass in its place
what causes this

is there a quick easy fix for this?
thanks

sounds like the glass is out of line, when the door is open does the glass move from side to side ? you'll need to take off the door card and see if all's well with the runners

ive just had a look, the glass moves but only very slightly, drivers door glass moves the same
but that sits fine.
the passenger glass (top corner) seems to go slightly higher than the door rubber
so when the door is opened it flicks the glass & when closed its to high to fit hence leaving a gap

recommendations ?
