It finally happened

For all general things Calibra related

It finally happened

by Robs-se » Sat Dec 18, 2010 11:10 pm

My cally has been parked outside my house covered in snow and parked on a hill, not good. Spent the day watching cars slide and slip up the hill and down and eventually someone has slid into the front of it :alright: . Poor chap did at least knock the door to tell me and after pushing his motor off the front of mine and clearing the snow away from the front it looks like hes just knocked the bumper slightly. Will have a better look tomorrow.
Oh well could be worse, could have been the local bus :D

I hope you still exchanged details as there might be damage that you didn't see today and might not see until you get it on a ramp.

Oh yes, details were exchanged, i'm checking it tomorrow properly and he's phoning Monday to see what damage hes done if any. Initial checks say just paint scrapped. if he had been doing any speed then it would have been carnage.

I have some that is a perfect match, spray can and touch up stick. Was quite impressed when i got it, stick first just to try and when happy got the spray can. Did my door handles with it.
Did try a few companies before i found these guys Paint4u.com, seeing as Vauxhall dont stock it anymore

think I would have the front bumper off and check for damage behind it as well....the bumper does absorb some of the impact then just pops back out again
