Well after not moving for 9 weeks having tons of snow dumped on her and putting new a alternator on this morning she's back up and running and now back under her cover. :D

What other issues arise mark from leaving a car stood, as my car is just about to be retired?

Not a thing, she started first time with a bit help from a jumper pack as she was as flat as a pancake.
