smoke out the back of cali

k, went out in the cali today and she started no probs, drove along the road to garage and put some gogo juice in her and all was well.....started along the moterway and we noticed some very light greyish white smoke coming out the back....when we slowed down it got less and when we sped up it got worse.....then the oil light was randomly lightin up for second at a time so when the engine was cool i checked and the oil was right down, so i toped her up with enough to get home.....what i did notice is where she was sitting after we had stopped there was alot of oil sittin underneath.................is this just due to not enough oil or am i looking at a F****d engine?.............all help welcome

define ...oil right down, how much did you have to put in to get it to the full mark??

it was just toutching the dipstick and i could only grab a sml bottle at a garage, so it took it just above the min mark for now...i am planning to go and get a large btl tommorow to top it right up...........the irritatin part is only about 2-3 weeks ago i topped it right up to the max level and she has hardly run so shouldnt have used it all

sounds like you have a leak, and if its lost it and not been started I would think its coming from the sump, did you have a patch of oil under the car where it normally parks?

yeh but iv always had a leak but never this bad, is the smoke anything to worry about?............the bottom of the engine is covered but not the bay itself or the top

As it's worse when you boot it, it's got to be burning it in a chamber/s or the leak is so bad the increased revs/oil pressure is leaking badly onto the exhaust
