No reverse lights..........

noticed this evening tht i've no reverse lights , i checked all the bulbs and they
all seem fine and tried reverse again but still nothing... Any ideas guys??

Check reverse switch on the gearbox.

No, its on the gearbox but not too sure where.

pull the plug off the gear box and it will be a 2 pin job. put a paper clip across it and put ignition on and if you reverse lights are on its a faulty switch. but dont start pulling plugs off everywhere and putting a paperclip in if your not sure which one it is though!

there cant be more than 1 or 2 pugs that go into the gearbox

as mentioned already, switch in gearbox... best advice I can give you... get a haynes manual, has helped me so much over the years...
