It's alive!!

by Rob-se9 » Sun Feb 06, 2011 8:38 pm

Well after the nightmares of the tensioners and the valves being bent its finally up and running. I've been having some trouble trying to route the silicon idle control valve pipe, it seems to get pinched under the intake manifold and causes the engine to run a little bit rough on idle. Has anybody else had this problem with silicon hoses?

Oh heres afew pictures i took of what the engine should look like once im happy with how its running.

Thanks :). Im still abit p***** off that its not running how i want it just yet. I think it could be due to the idle control valve pipe being pinched under the intake manifold :(.

It does look good if i say so myself, and looks like to me there could be more than one hose being pinched under the manifold, just have to have a play around with it to see how to route them best
