Clear headlights 2011

Searching around I can't find any source for the clear headlight fronts that RobbieV etc. have. The SONAR headlight module doesn't appear to be available anymore and people like Frank and 1llusion appear to have gone as well (?) Any other avenues I should be looking into?

The angel eye units are a little more expensive thay the clear lenses (mine were £110 from 1llision a while ago and were a perfect fit!)..I believe you have to modify and grind the edge of the aftermarket unit lens slightly to make the lense fit the original units.

All I can find now are black units with intergral angel eyes:

Not so worried about the black as I'm only after the face - but £216

I've got a sweet little lighting project on hold now because of this :sad-bored:

Are they the cheapest?... clear lenses are almost impossible to find now..I remember 1lllusion had them specially tooled and made up...good luck with your search...the units come up second hand now and again.

I wonder where 1lllusion has gone now? I think those black ones can be found for a bit less lammy, but not much under £200 from what I can see. Maybe someone reading this has some clear lenses to trade...

Many thanks for that! Have made an enquiry. Funny thing is I wasted several hours Sunday afternoon paging through an Ebay search for Calibra and didn't spot it - although it has to be said I didn't make much of a dent in the 17,326 results that came back :bang:
