Tidy looking LET conversion on the Corsa; I would replace the wormdrive clamps with Mikalors on the pressurised part of the intake though. What's the tank that sits at the rear, drivers side, under the cowling?
Was the Calibra single owner?

Cheers, no the clamps are more than enough when done properly, from the day i built it did a year of 20+psi abuse and had no issues at all.
I concentrated on mechanical correctness for reliability over looks.
Unfortunatly the power and grip took its toll on the steering rack, top mounts and track rod arm bushes so it needs some tlc before it goes back on the road.
That tank is brake fluid resevoir.
Company car, then went into the name of the guy that had it as a company car, then it was swapped into the name of his wife.. but in reality its only had 1 person use and maintain it so to speak.

Re: Im new and just bought a cally turb
So now the snow is gone and the nights are getting longer i can make a start on my poor neglected cally.
started today by cleaning and adding some leather care to the seats, removed the battery and stuck it on charge (maybe afew months to late to save it oops) and compiled a long list of stuff i need to order up!
if anyone has a standard exhaust rear tail trim i can buy then i can start making a stainless steel replica?!

started on the tail pipe.

also carried out my usual quick fix.
Pop you gear gator up and push the clip to the left to undo it

Uploaded with ImageShack.us
then pull the clip/pin towards the back of the car to release the gearstick.

Uploaded with ImageShack.us
then replace the black rubber bush (50p from vaux)

Uploaded with ImageShack.us
then lube up with silicone grease (must be silicone grease)

Uploaded with ImageShack.us
and refit for a nice non sloppy gear change
