strutbrace
can anyone tell me if its worthwhile fitting a strutbrace and do you notice any difference in the road handling?

Re: strutbrace
It depends on how hard you drive around corners.
It will certainly assist in maintaining the suspension geometry, which would also help with tyre wear, but a potential downside is that if you where to take a shunt in one side of the car, the strut brace could transfer damage the the other side too
Ive had one on mine (currently off being tweaked/painted) and dont notice any difference, but i don't throw it around that hard.

If by rear strutbrace you mean simply fitting a straight bar between the strut tops then no, waste of time. They aren't load bearing sites. Stiffer ARB & bushes should be the first target if looking to improve handling with the rear.
A quality adjustable bar across the front struts is worthwhile. You will notice the difference if you drive enthusiastically...

Re: strutbrace
yes fitting something like the whiteline rear antiroll bar is supposed to be better, have had a front strut brace for years..dont thing it does that much (and I do chuck it round corners) but it does look good
Re: strutbrace
a wee pic of my rear one it might not do much but i like it
