There is a Member of an other site that was fitting the lower arms to his track car look alike thing not sure if he ever did it or sold them but they did look like they would fit, as for the brakes make sure you get the carriers as the callipers are the same as turbo or v6 ones it's the carrier that makes the 308 mm disc fit under the callipers
All seats can be fitted in if your willing to cut and weld but you won't be able to make the seat bend forward to get into the back

Option 2 can be done. I have a pair of Vectra half leather seats that were modified to fit a Cavalier, so would fit a Calibra. These may be the only ones so modified and were done a few years ago by a guy over on VxON.

It was a lot of work (they had to be as strong as the original as the seatbelt fixes to the floor though them) and these particular ones would not be of any use because, as pointed out, they do not tip, but also the Turbo passenger subframe in a Calibra is different.

Question 1: With the Saab control arms you also need the Saab ARB - which will fit on a NA Calibra but not on a Calibra Turbo because of the propshaft.

n.b. you'll most probably need to fit a front wheel camber kit too.

Question 3: Yes. A very worthwhile upgrade and IMHO the best braking option for the Calibra without going to the likes of AP Racing calipers, alloy bels, rotors etc.

The potential MOT failure on the seats, if they notice, is due to the safety issue of the seat belt anchorage being via the seat mounts.

Nothing to do with the tilting seat.

Actually it is - If the front seats don't tilt how does the MOT tester get in the back to test the rear seat belts !

And i was told by an MOT tester the other day when my beamer was in that if he can't get to the rear seat belts to test then he would fail it.

I had a problem with the driver's seat it which it wouldn't tilt ? He got in the back via the passenger side ............... prehaps he was being anal ??

because the seat can still be slide forward you can still get to the rear seats to test the rear seats and seatbelts. so if your seats cant be slide forwards or tilted then i'd say it would be a fail. i'd say your mot tester is being anal mate
