I think the first pull out input shaft I ever saw Fraz was on a Triumph toledo.

Such a clever idea.

think you will find under the rules of Billing there is no car repairs allowed on site ...no doubt a H&S issue

so basically ive got the basics for changing a clutch apart from the oil which sheldon(andy mate) will sort out ,see when me and a mate did the suspension springs on the se9 he found the driveshafts had never been taken out as the old style metal dustcaps were still in good condition and not rusty as my mate said normally when the old metal dust caps are removed is because of someone changing parts whether this is the case i dont know

but hopefully things will go ok tho

im sure it was Sheldon that rebuilt Andys turbo engine and hes done a 1st class job on it so he'll have no probs with your clutch, when is it getting done ?

It was indeed Steve, That's why I put the idea to Baz, and you wont find a better Vaux mech' anywhere.

He did pop over a few times at billing last year, I think he wants in on the club billing BBQ too this year as he was impressed with the organisation of ours.

unfortunately i had to reschedule sheldon to do it a month later so it will be done on the 28th now so its all good and i appreciate andys help and the expertise of sheldon .

I had to charge the car battery up ;last wekend as it was dead so ive kept that working now and run it for a short period other couple of days to keep it charged and when i started it after the first key that noise was great (not the release bearing lol ) after the diference in sound to the tigra.

yh it sure was,i got there at 7 am and we finished at around 3,exhaust manifold bolts were a challenge, subframe was ok and gearbox was easy too.

So all those hrs i was charged a very comfortable bit of money including new gearbox oil change.but i was told to get back my suspension back to standard as its causing a lot of tyrewear on the back wheels. so if anyone wants a great mechanic then hes the man and has so much expertise in the vauxhall range engines and has a mint chevette hs.
