Thinking about changing my old worn out steering wheel with airbag

Been looking at momo online and i see they do a steering boss for cars
that have had airbags?

Just make sure you disconnect the battery before you disconnect the airbag. If you don't you will get the warning light up that can only be cleared with a Tech 2.

but if you are changing the wheel to a Momo one your light will be on anyway ..I presume your not going to pay over £300 for the airbag one

just take the blub out, only thing is the airbag light will soon be part of the MOT

if you decide to put the airbag (steering wheel) back on watch out for the little wire connecting it all together... you probably know this, and I am not a mechanic but a t**t took my steering wheel off to change the steering rack ( just found out you dont have to do that!!) and buggered it up, a new one will cost around 100 quid IF it doesnt get damaged putting the new one back xx
