calibra dtm cloth or leather?

hi there.im a newbie this is my first post!since my trusty tatty old cally blew its headgasket(170000 miles it did well!)i bought a bmw 328i sport but im craving another calibra.ive spotted a literally timewarp dtm 16v.its very rare id describe a 16 year old car as showroom but this nearly is.its totally standard apart from lots of cleaning,tidying and chroming under bonnet and has apparently been stored in a heated carpeted garage!lol.problem is it has the dtm velour seats.the grey and yellow pattern.im really gonna miss the comfy leather of my old one and have its leather in spotless condition in my garage.is it a bad idea to exchange seats?id like to show the car but i dont want to detract from its original condition,were all dtm models in cloth?thanks!

hello and welcome, Is this the DTM that is on pistonheads and ebay by any chance??

as far as I know the DTN had the option of leather, but the seats your on about are the ones with the small DTM flash, and are quite rare to find, I would keep them myself and I find the cloth seats are more comfortable then the leather

it is the very same i spent a few minutes on phone to dealer yesterday and discussed its history.i ideally wanted a v6 dtm but they seem scarce plus so many tatty ones around

correction its not pistonheads car i see which one u mean though this one is on ebay garage sale not private.the aforementioned ebay/pistonheads car needs rather a lot of attention from enquires i made

Ive got a V6 DTM and the interior is leather. Yeah very scarce but luckilly for me Im the second owner and its very tidy. Just turned over 50,000 and Ive got the full body kit on it.

Problem is last weekend some f****r took my sill off and unbolted the underside part of it and swiped it......left me with the top half (if that makes sense)

Anybody any ideas where I could get another?

put up a pic o the sill so we can see what you are looking for or is it just the std side sill you are looking for
