Dash top crack.....decisions!

Like most Calibra owners I have the dreaded crack in the top of my dash by the windscreen, and another on the way!

I have two options.....I could either order the new part from Vauxhall (Will they even have these anymore??) and fit it when i have my screen replaced (Which is something i'm getting done asap)....or do i order the cover that Lenk make to cover the exising cracked part??....I'm guessing the Lenk covers are hard to come by and/or expensive?

Has anyone bought a Lenk cover and has it fitted or knows how to get hold of them and how much they are?......Ive looked on the website but its all in German(?) and the translator wont touch it lol

on the ones I have removed, the part that carcks is all one piece and is not a part you can replace, other than a complete dash

so your better just ordering the cover, or get one made yourself


the Lenk site is also in English if you look ..this is what you want

and all you do is email them or even just pick up the phone and call them Ask for Gerry (he speaks English just fine) just mention the site

I was under the impression that that edge bit that cracks was seperate and replaceable, but only when the screen was out, due to access, I stand corrected though

It'll have to be a Lenk cover then....I was just wondering how they look fitted if anyone has one and has pics??...I have no other carbon in my car and thought it might look abit out of place.

I got a pice of fake black leather cut it to size glued it down job done not an easy job tho with the windscreen in the way

Update...

Order paid for, been intouch with Gerry Lenk and it will be sent the first week in July

I'll put some pics up when fitted
