whats the best way to remove a boot badge (the griffin in the center) whith out damaging the paint work ?????

Warm up the badge with hot water or hair dryer and then use a piece of string to break the glue bond.

you can use a credit/bank card to separate bage from body
then tar glue remover /white spirit to remove adhesive
hairdryer to heat area first
