Im guessing you found a boost leak then?

Didn't find one no, but have cured it.

I removed every hose, rebuilt the entire system end to end and double clamped (where room) every joint.

Boost has now crept up 1-2 psi and is making no squealy whistling noises as before.
5 hours work but worth it, as not only is it fixed, but each joint is hugely stronger that it was before.
