Recommend me some side repeaters :)

by MadOnVaux! » Fri Aug 12, 2011 5:12 pm

My Calibra is Forest Green, and at the mo have the smoked standard size round ones fitted, coz the Orange just didnt suit the dark Green paint....but they keep fading and the rubber gaskets keep splitting, so wanting a change.

I would like some smoked/black oval ones, and LED for the longevity, but i want some that will be good quality and not fade so i dont have to take them off and refit new ones, they must fit well and last as LED items should last.

I have seen these on ebay that look decent enough....

but i'd like people opinions/thoughts/recommendations please, if you've got some of these fitted and how long they have been on etc.

Thanks in advance people :)

Cheers Guys :)

I wasnt sure of the smoked ones might look abit sparkly at times with those tiny shiney reflectors in them.

Those are what i have on now...but they fade over time and the gaskets keep splitting.........also I have decided they protrude too much.

go with the smoked ovals, they look good and give a slightly more up to date look...

The 1st Link would've been good, if there was only the four LED's in the middle!

Side indicators serve their purpose, but I personally think they should also be discrete!

My Calibra is White so I've got clear one's with an Amber LED 501 bulb, but for Green I'd go the smoked for sure!

But in saying that, I've also seen the clear one's that I have look good on the Green!

Check these out, as they might not be so common in the UK! ;)

Got them yesterday....and well, they dont look as dark as they do on ebay, i should have got the Black ones really.

Anyhow, quite pleased how they look fitted (after some fannying around), they do stand out abit, but alot better than the old ones.
