Acceleration Vibrations...
Hi guys.
Just bought my first Calibra (Se9) after always wanting one.
The issue I have is that when accelerating there is a jackhammerlike knocking from what sounds like under car on the drivers side.
It's only really audible with the window down, It's been suggested it could be CV joints etc.
Would anyone have a more concrete answer and if so an approximate figure to get it repaired??!?
Many thanks guys!

Re: Acceleration Vibrations...
its going to need a bit of manual investigation
when does it do it worst? ie on corners, or on straight, on acceleration alone, or on over-run too?
Is the knock speed related, or engine revs related or going over bumps related.

Re: Acceleration Vibrations...
I haven't noticed it on corners so much but it sounds like it knocks when accelerating and appears to lessen when keeping at a consistent speed (though that may be the engine drowning it out).
The knocks are at a consistent rate too, no speeding or slowing.

Re: Acceleration Vibrations...
Does the car tend to wonder, could be the anti roll bar link snapped, this will tap on the driveshaft
