STAGE TWO: Spark Plugs, Leads and Leaking Cam Covers
1 - Removed Ignition Lead Number 1 - It was Badly Damaged and covered in oil
2 - Removed and Cleaned the Rear Rocker Cover - Plenty of Oil in Spark Plug wells
3 - Cleaned up the Oil In Spark Plus wells, and replaced all Spark Plugs with NGK Iridiums
4 - Re-fitted the Rear Rocker Cover and used a New Gasket
5 - Replaced all Ignition Leads with a New Bosch Set
SUMMARY: Service done @ 173,770 Km
For the first time, I got to inspect what's under the V6 Manifold...
I pulled out Ignition Lead No1, and was stunned at it's condition...
It had been patched up with Electrical Tape, and there was heaps of Oil in all 3 Rear Spark Plug Wells...
This Oil Leaking is due to the Poor Design, of the Plastic Cam Covers!!!
Now that I've seen this, I'm Upgrading to the Vectra Metal Cam Covers ASAP!!!
I then cleaned up the Oil in the Spark plug wells, and fitted the New NGK Iridiums...
I then cleaned up the Rocker Cover of the excess silicone, to prepare it for re-fitting...
Once the Rocker Cover was back on, I got out the New Bosch Ignition Leads Set...
I also replaced the Alternator Cooling Fan, before re-fitting the Manifold...

SUNROOF LINER REMOVAL
There might be various types of Sunroof Liners!
Mine is the Two Stage - Twin Cog type Sunroof Model
Anyway, it's actually a really simple 2 minute job!!!
1 - Turn the Ignition ON, so that You can Operate the Sunroof...
2 - Using the Sunroof Switch, open the Sunroof past Stage One, and slide it back enough to expose the front of the liner...
3 - You can now pull down on the 3 Press Clips at the front there, and the front of the liner will drop...
4 - Once that's done, using the Sunroof Switch, gradually slide the Sunroof open and work the liner forward...
5 - Continue working the liner forward as you slide the Sunroof back, till the Sunroof is fully open...
6 - Then it's just a matter of working the liner, out towards the front of the car...
7 - Depress the 'Long Spring Loaded Retainer Bar' at the front in order to allow the liner to exit...
8 - Having an Assistant would make this Job even easier, but even a Novice like myself did it Solo...
NOTE: It's not necessary to remove the 'Sunroof Cover' in order to get the Lining off, but I didn't know that at the time!
To get the Sunroof Cover off, simply remove the 3 nuts on both sides of the Sunroof Frame, and then pop it out with caution!
Either method will work, it all just depends on whether You want to check out the Sunroof in more detail...
So now it's off and ready to be prepared, to get re-lined...

THE PROGRESS WITH MY 'NEW LOOK 3 TONE' INTERIOR!!!
ROOF LINING:
I was originally planning on using a Black re-trim, but after a conversation with the Trimmers, I opted not to...
So after looking at various materials and colours, I decided to use a Darker Shade of Grey cloth, instead of the Black Vinyl...
Mainly because I wasn't too keen on painting the Sunvisors, and then having to constantly touch them up over time!
Plus the Darker Grey means that dirt wont show up so easily, and it will blend in well with the Black Leather Interior on a White Car!
OTHER INTERIOR DETAILS:
I've always preferred the Black Coloured Pillars over the Cream Coloured Pillars!
So when I got some in Black, I was very excited about the impact that it would have!
When I scored the 'Bug Eyes Style - Interior Light' I actually didn't know if it would even fit the Calibra...
I also bought a Smoked One in the same style as the Original as backup, but Bug Eyes was First Choice, and fitted well
I then fitted the same LED's that I put in the Original Interior Light, but the difference in light dispersion was Huge!!!
Bug Eyes Map Lights point down, instead of to the sides, and I also like the way Bug Eyes fits in with the New Colour Scheme!

I'm hoping to have most of the 'Interior Phase' finished sometime this month!!!
In order to prolong the life of the Drivers Seat, I plan on switching the Front Seat bases over!
I've had a quick look, and the botton rails are easily swapped...
It's the side seat adjusting components, that might be a mission!!!
I wish there was more info on this, cos I'd hate to have wasted hours on this, only to FAIL

Occasionally I've invited a Lass over to hold the Torch, or hand me a Screwdriver...
I would've asked him for help... If I thought that he was actually capable...
But from the impressions that he's given me, he's really got absolutely NO idea!!!
