off the road

as of saturday night the se9 will be off the road for a couple of months or so. basically i'm not using it as much now and the tax is due up at the end of the month and i'm not re-taxing it just to sit out the back door doing nothing.
plus i want to get the throttle body enlarged and i've just been into vauxhall and ordered a new inlet manifold gasket and a set of lower divider gaskets for when i put the 3l lower divider on.
other than that i'm hoping to get it in to get resprayed round about march-april time. i've saved up about a grand so far
not that bothered about any of the other shows in the first half of the year but i really want it done before Billing, so fingers crossed

well lets just say i'm glad the car hasnt been painted yet, like most of the country we've had high winds through the night. well a bit of felt roofing off next doors neighbours garage has came off and hit the car basically its scratched the bonnet and hit the passenger wing mirror as well

needless to say i'm super pi**ed but i'd probably be worse if the car had been painted already. worst of it is i'm waiting on a new car cover coming as i pulled my old one out last week and it had a big rip in it

dont be daft Steve, the guys on the brew so will hardly have insurance. plus i dont think i could claim for it anyway as i had a similar thing happen a couple of years ago with the 8v. somebodys wheelie bin got blown into the bootlid and put a big dent in it ended up costing my £200 to repair it
