saab turbo on a calibra v6 engine???

does anyone know if this is possible and if anyone has ever tried it???

got my hands on the maifold turbo ect at a good price but not sure if its worth getting if it cant be done.

i ve read up on bits but no solid proof to show it works?

i spoke about this some time ago im sure we worked out it could be done but the turdo that was on the sabb wasnt going to give us much so it was knocked on the head, im sure will rememer more than me about why tho

yer i mean its a low comprestion turbo and i dont know how much clearenss it will have but i dont think i will have to mess with the internals justa bolt on job i think?? thats why i was looking to see if anyones done it?

might just try it if i get the bits i need for 200 quid and it gives me a extra 20 bhp i would be happy so anymore the better lol

The 3.0ltr Saab engine will fit in but if you are going down the turbo route why dont you fit let pistons in bolt on twin garretts,triple core intercooler,an extra oil cooler,and external oil pump aswell as an external water pump,for extra cooling lubrication,it could be done but alot of work involved

Iam not replacing the whole engine just going to see what i would get out of bolting on the saab turbo?

I am sure the compression of the engine would have to be lowerd or it would eat itself and detonate even with alow compression turbo
