Hi Steve, on the way home I was thinking about when we were talking about not bonding the plug to the main body because it's a tight fit. I agree that petrol wouldn’t leak out but would water get in to the tank if it’s not bonded to the main body ?

Leave it down to the people that buy one, to run a thin bead of silicone sealer around plug before fitting the unit to the tank. Could be easily cut out if needed in future.

EDIT: Would it cost extra to put a little flange on the pipes as the original unit??
I used to own this Calibra...

I don't see why not Mark but that may be something you could do when/if Steve can get them made. The more the bloke has to do the more it would cost.
I Will be bonding the plug and the pipes to the main body as you will never need to remove it and for the peace of mind of knowing water wont get in.

i spoke to a company yesterday and they do a 2 pack sealer that wont be effected petrol its £8 a tube the only prob would be the ele connection plug as you will need to use the one from your own or spare tank, i think the best way forward would be for me to seal the pipes and leave it to yourselfs to seal the plug, the one phil got made is every tight so it wouldnt take much to seal, i would still like to get more names it might be worth telling others that arent on this site about it,
