A few pics of my new Calibra :-)

Here's a couple of pics of a Calibra SE8 i've been building up over the past few months. It's about 90% complete. I chose the SE8 as a base for the project as it's got no sunroof and is one of the last Calibras made (on an R-plate).





It's been converted to 5-stud so I can run some 19" BK299's and Wilwood 4pots. Suspension is Eibach with new bushes all round.


Rears sit quite nicely and are running Omega vented discs and larger calipers (BMW)


On the inside, the standard SE8 seats have been swapped for black leather, while the dash has been flocked black along with the pillar trims done to match. I've added a few little tricks like Omega auto-dimming rear view mirror, Richbrook bits and pieces etc. I've also laid a lot of dynamat down for sound deadening and new OFC cabling for the speakers.


Under the bonnet it's got a sequential LPG conversion and a few colour coded / stainless bits... and waiting on a new bonnet latch hence the bonnet not closing properly!

Plans are to have the Porsche as a daily runaround and the Calibra will come out when I fancy showing off.

No mate it's Prey_001 on migweb (Alan) who does the flocking, about £80 for a dash and got loads of colours in stock! He did a few bits on my Type-R as well and it's always been perfect.
