I scored one recently, but it looks different to what Phil has Posted...

I read that this Part can also be found on both the Vectra A and the Cavalier...

Hi Vxlgsi, Sorry mate but i have been talking to V6 Steve about it when i gave him the flange thats getting made for club members and he has dibs on it when/if i get rid of it. If all plastic tubes etc are removed from the external flange then there is not much that would need changed from the one Alex made me so i would think the club should be able to get them made with the same idea that some assembly would be required with original parts from the old one.

Hi EddyDancer, That one you have is the flange the club is trying to get made for the in tank fuel pump. The other one i put on is for an out of tank fuel pump. If you can get any more from the scrap yards for the 2 types then you could make a few quid mate.

I have put up more photos to show there is a difference but not much. All the plastic moves freely and is held in place by a stop on the return line.

The fuel pick up pipe is quite long as you can see with this photo. Sorry don't know how to put an arrow on to the picture but it's the darker part of the plastic pipe.

Im sure there would be a way to replicate the stop on the return line.

I'll start the search asap...

That one I scored was from a V6 that had done over 256,000 Km and it looked like Brand New...

I'll check out the Vectra A as Calibra in Scrap Yards here are so rare...

I see its not just me that had this problem. stripped mine and coated it in several layers of epoxy couple of years ago. Garage said the fuel would eat it, but seems to have held up so far.

Hi all.

Any news on getting these tank flanges made? As my SE9 has sprung a major leak and judging on where the petrol is leaking from it's most likely this part that causing it. hu
