bonnet bra

by Allys Cally » Thu May 31, 2012 9:45 pm

well i decided to buy one of these. seeing as the cars being painted i want to protect the new paint-work on the bonnet as much as i can. it will only be fitted when the cars been driven and removed at shows :D

Image

these are about £70-£80 on ebay, but i got mine from germany for only £40.

so what do you's think? would you buy one or not? remember most stone damage is done on the front edge of the bonnet

Prob be more damage caused, Ie picking up dirt when puting on-off, look the part but don't know if there's any real benifits, stay away from gritters and don't tailgate!

you can turn them inside out to clean them before fitting. and not tailgating doesn't stop stones hitting it from cars coming in the opposite direction now does it

I considered getting one for my Astra coupe as I've just had the front end re-sprayed but heard too many horror stories about the paintwork getting scuffed with them, so I've decided not to get one.
