You could drill a hole through the connector thats left on the flange, feed 2 lenths of insulated wire through then use crimps, heat shrink and something to seal the hole and do away with the connector.

So after picking up the car and driving back 200 miles i found afew minor faults i will be sorting out over time but im pleasaed to say nothing major! The car is not used daily nor will it be used over winter so i have no rush, but it will be going to Billing next year and maybe even nurburg if i get time.

So this is when i got it home,

I then buggered off on holiday for a while, i got back and was itching to clean it and see whats what and get the new car cover on it whilst i start collecting bits and bobs for it.

looks exactly like my old turbo i had back in '02 only mines was lowered slightly and still had letterbox type exhaust , reg was K24 LNG sold to a guy in livingstone in '03. ps lovely looking car buddy.

Sender unit now repaired, fitted a brass cable gland,

and a brass half nut underneath

Image

Pinched a plug from the engine bay of an old mk2 astra so it plugs straight in

its now back in the tank working a treat. :band:
