V6 workshop manual

by JasonD » Fri Jun 01, 2012 9:32 pm

Hi All

New to clubcalibra

Have just purchased a 98 V6 based in Ireland

I can't seem to get my hands on a Haynes manual for the V6

Any suggestions??

Cheers

Don't know whether those Lindsay Porter manuals are any good, but I seem to recall they cover the V6. Good luck.

Thanks Guys

Dont need the manual for anything specific but given that this V6 is a new project I will undoubtedly need a reference point at some time

I did download the e-manual for the calibra from emanuals.com but they are very hard to navigate

Has anyone gone through the standard V6 engine modifications yet

I'm thinking along the lines of:

- Chipping the engine (any feedback you might have regarding this would be great!!) (are the chips available for the ECu on ebay any good?)

- Upgrading the throttle body by enlarging it

- I have a scoprion exhaust on the car already but am thinking of adding a second!!! any feedback again would be great

Some of the modifications already on the car are:

- Green cotton induction kit
- 3 litre injectors
- 3.8 bar fuel regulator
- decat scorpoin exhaust

Cheers

Jay
