Billing not to run again this year

Hi all,
For those who were still hoping/wondering if VBOA at Billing would be attempted again this year, the VBOA site has now made it official that it wont be happening as it is too much organisation in too short a time plus too much work for Billing to try and repair the site in that time:

The only other option some people may which to make use of would be to attend the Vauxhall Heritage Centre open day at Luton on October 7th:

I can understand the reasoning but its still a massive shame on their 30 year anniversary.

its sad news that they wont be doing it again this year but im glad as i wouldnt be able to go roll on next years Billing 2013

as much as i would love to do them all, it always comes down to that big factor of money. its got to the stage now where i just can't do 5-6hrs driving there, then do the show and then 5-6hrs driving back.
so then your talking hotels or b+b's and then you've got food and drink on top of it as well it all adds up. suppose its the worst thing about staying north of the border
