Seing as you asked so nicely

Yea the oil leak was helped by a new Z20LEH sandwich plate and goodridge connections but seems to still have a little drip.

Had a couple of weeks of lots of new parts arriving

Nice selection of springy things for the wastegate...

Coil pack to replace the dizzy...
Image

And some brackets for it to mount from the original dizzy location...

Remains of the dizzy after getting it machined down to use as a blank...
Image

Plugs and MAP sensor...
Image

Well needed injectors...
Image

New box of tricks...
Image

Ohh how I hate electrics...
Image

And the start of the mapping...

Image

And thought I would sneak in a rare pic of it looking clean...

Image

Few of you will know that the plan was to get it all mapped and running for PVS this year but as per usual it was a last minute thing and ended up giving up saturday morning at around 3am with a base map allowing me to drive upto santa pod. Big thanks to the guys at T&R for working through the night to get it to that position. Its currently running just over 260bhp at 6psi and I just need to do a little bit of tweaking over the next couple of weeks and hopefully finish the mapping next month.

Can finally give the screamer a good blow out though.....

Not had much of a chance for an update recently. Finished the second session on the rollers just before PVS peaking at 408bhp. Had an annoying coolant leak since from the pipe connecting to the EDS inlet manifold. Decided to take it off in the end and weld a ring to the base, definately worth doing if anyone buys one. Its pretty poorly made tbh considering the price tag....

Image

While the inlet was out I couldnt resist stripping down the alternator and giving it an overhaul....

Image

Hopefully get the car back together this weekend ready for Trax.

Cheers mate.

Rich talked me in to pulling a nightshift on the calibra and now all back together (big thumbs up for coming over), you can just make out the alternator if you squint

there's still time to get the rings and put it back together ... you wouldn't have been able to tune it anyway so we can just run it in on the way to combe
