Greetings all!
Greetings all!
Hey All,
Names Brian im 27 and live in london,
2nd time of owning a calibra i had a turbocharged one at the age of 25 what a weapon it was too!
Currently on the hunt for another now to turn it into a track car for some fun due to friends passing on the bug! although they are running golfs and mx5's but not interested in that for my sins.
Looking at a few V6's rather surprised how hard its become to find a redtop or even a turbocharged one these days guessing they have been parted out sad times. On the positive side a few of the V6's are at 500 notes with 130k on the clocks so a perfect starting point for me.
Have a few plans in mind for this but i think the first thing will be a diet and a few tweaks to make it breathe a little harder!
Should be fun!!

Re: Greetings all!
welcome ..I doubt you will get a turbo for your needs, as said they have become quite expensive and worth more for parts than a whole car these days
and your just down the road from me as well

Re: Greetings all!
I thought as much sadly ill keep my eyes open but suspect the V6 will be the only way, unless a redtop comes up in which case ill choose that over the V6 little lighter and revs harder from memory.
Nice to see i have so many neighbours close by haha!
Just been doing a quick eBay scan for parts and what found some decent bits so far for sensible money nothing outrageous, Air filter, Exhaust, strut brace, springs and suspension and buckets as the cally interior weighs 8 tonne!! should be a nice little thing to keep me busy over winter.

Thanks for the welcomes everyone very kind
Was pretty much what I was thinking but wondered if the extra grunt would compensate. As I would guess it would under steer like a b******
May just stick to the redtop/ecotech route then
