Anyone know if a Vectra B interior light fits a Calibra?

One of the clips has broken on mine and it rattles like hell, and i cant find a decent Calibra light unit (A new one ideally), and i like the look of these.....if it fits and the wiring is the same, i'll het one.

and before anyone suggests it, i dont want the 'bug-eye' unit out of the Carlton etc, i hate em!

Any other Interior Light, is better than the Standard Calibra one...

That Vectra Tinted one, is an improvement, but the 'Bug Eye' does project light better...

I actually Sold 2 of them 'Bug Eyes' today, and one guy gave me his Original Light, as he was going to toss it out, being that Bug Eyes works so much better...
It's in Top Condition too!!! I'll put it in for you, with the next parcel I send that way...

From what I've seen, there are two types of wiring for this Interior Light...

One with the 4 wiring connector type similar to the Calibra, and the other has a completely different type of wiring...

But this one seems to be the correct one...

Would you prefer the original light, or this tinted one?

I wouldnt mind an original really, but the clips get very weak and brittle with age and break easily, the one i have now was mint when i bought it, a bulb went and i took it out, and a clip went when i was re-fitting it! So unless i buy a new OE one from autovaux i'm going to be in the same boat

I have a sly feeling the Vectra one may be better made....considering how the improved the sun visor clips for the Vectra, by re-inforcing them.

Its a multy plug connection on the back of them mate
totally different from the calibra
No doubt you can probably alter it to fit

Lenses fit fine but the wiring has 2 or 3 variants over different Vauxhalls. Some are even a ribbon type!

The tabs are in top shape, and I even pressed hard on them, to try and break them!
