Well, it isn't as if you're the only club going to PVS, and trying to get a good balance into the show report is challenging to say the least. Why should Club Calibra get any more coverage than others?

How many Arden Blue VXRs turn up isn't up to us, but what I can guarantee is that there will be a good mix of old and new on the TV stand, just like last year. :)

I honestly didn't come on here to open up old wounds, I just wanted to uncross any wires as soon as possible.

The last few mags have featured a Cav Turbo with a Z20LET in, a Nova with a B204 Saab engine, Old Nail, an Aston Martin powered Magnum, a Mk2 Cavalier Sri, a manic 1.6 Nova AND a selection of Corsa and Astra VXRs, so the 'you only feature LET Corsas' tag is a bit redundant.

Anyway, looking forward to saying hello again at PVS. (I met a fair few of you at Billing 2011)

I have been buying tv for years on and off but there has been a distinctive lack off calibras featured, if you put it in context with novas corsas etc they have had a real lacking of coverage. I have nothing against any vauxhall no matter what the badge (I have bought my daughter a corsa) but it seems the most iconic coupe possibly ever made is sadly getting overlooked and there are still many fine examples still around especially in our club, roll on Pvs, billing etc so we can show just how good they really are

Jamie, I assume as a Vauxhall Mag, you don't intentionally give any club preferential coverage, but you must go with a few older cars that have had more attention/money spent on them. Whether that money = more bhp gained is irrelevent, as newer cars = less money and more bhp.

There has been bad blood between this site and your mag, but if a balance could be struck between older and modern models that would be of a benefit.

This is a one model/one era site so that is what we are focused on keeping alive, an occasional mag feature would be great help.

Jamie, i did speak to you recently about us le turbo owners going to pvs and i remember you saying you would send a photographer around to take a few pics seeing as tv would be there????
Not a feature but a few pics of the cars together??
Wasnt that long ago we chatted about this!
If this cannot happen then we will be meeting up anyhow! Just seemed we both thought this could be good seeing as there are only a few of the limited editiond left and there are popular with the vauxhall guys!
My first le had a feature in the mags most wanted edition and got a good response from the many calibra owners!
Would be a shame to miss the few that are left if there together!

Seeing as your a month (or two...) behind, ask for viewer photo email contributions, so it only takes you two days in the office to sort, then add a little caption under the photo of who sent it in...

Heya, well I'm certainly going to be going round with a snapper and will get photos of the cars and the club, that's more than fair enough. The only thing I wanted to put right was the prospect of a full photoshoot on the day, as as much as I'd love to do double page spreads on each club there, it just isn't possible.

I'm more than happy to get photos of the Calibras and the club, it's great to see a group of them together for once.
Consider yourselves lucky, there isn't even a club for Mk1 Carltons. ;)
