Drivers door seal leaking
Where can I buy a full drivers door seal from mine is leaking quite bad
If it's not broke, fix it until it is...........

Sorry about that lads iv been down to oz with the family visiting family for a few monts, anyways it is leaking in from behind the mirror and running down into the footwell

The problem at that point is both the door seal and the body seal are solid rubber, so you can't insert a bit of wire as you can most of the rest of the way round. I have put a liberal amount of Polypipe silicone pipe seal, as used by plumbers, on it in that area and it does not harden and seems to have cured the problem. To try it out you could use Vaseline but it does not last as long.

It is a kind of grease with a Silicone base. It seals the gap when the door is closed to stop water getting through. It doesn't go hard so remakes the seal everytime the door is opened or closed.
