Sonar head lights
Does anyone know how to alter the beam to face to the left on the sonar after market
headlight units?I know the original ones have a lever that alters the beam.I just
want to know before I go and strip the front of the car.

Mate...
No need to remove anything...
Get a screw driver, stick it in that hole, and turn that jagged wheel accordingly...

Re: Sonar head lights
I doubt they will adjust enough using that adjuster, thats the same as the original headlights and will only give a slight adjustment
have you perhaps purchased left hand drive ones ?? there is usually some form of direction on them to show left or right hand drive ...an arrow pointing left or right

Gave it a try and it doesn't seem to be working
I think that's for altering the main beam and not the
dipped headlight. I'll have to take off the bumper
and get the lights out.

Re: Sonar head lights
Has anyone else had to alter this type of headlight?
Took them off tonight and it looks as if it is a fixed unit
behind the dipped beam lense. Its different from the original
units as they've got a small lever to alter the beam from
left to right.

Re: Sonar head lights
nope never used them ...is there nothing at side of them to adjust left to right...I would have thought they would have some form of adjustment ..all be it very slight
if they are fixed then you may have left hand drive ones

Re: Sonar head lights
The only bit on them Fraz is the part that Eddy told me to
try and it only appears to alter the reflector for the main
beam.Tomorrow i'll try and take off the lenses and see if
I can get behind the main reflector and see if there's a
bit that can be adjusted.
