A few more pictures of the rear trims after recovering. I used the Sika high strength contact adhesive in this case. Brushing on the adhesive to both the panel and the back of the vinyl and leaving it to dry, otherwise the process is the same as described above.

Rio Verde Green V6

Loving this Calibra ! Always wanted - 2.5 v6 auto rio verde green ( and still do ) . I told Camy that the minute he showed up at my gate with his white one ( which is now mine . Confused? Yeah me too !) keep up the good work mate :)

I sympathies, my first Calibra was a pearl white auto. I saw a few in Rio Verde Green and fell in love with the colour so a year down the track I bought a V6 5speed manual in Rio Verde green and traded in the Pearl White one. Been happier ever since.

A bit of a update added some new chrome pieces and updated the interior lighting to LED.

Had the dial rings for now for few years now and they do look good.

Thanks for the comments John, Mark & Phill.

The chrome rings are an inexpensive and easy way to dress up the dials, as Mark had mentioned. The chrome affect with the dial surrounds, knobs and shift knob and handbrake handle are subtle and easy on the eye.


I was also looking that these I thought I might make mention of them.
