Cheers fellas for the positive comments and the warm welcome.

The car took 6 years to complete overall but that wasnt every day lol. as you guys will know you have to be in the mood.
fortunately i didnt need the calibra to get around so it purely stayed in the garage as a project.

The front brakes callipers are mitsubishi evo fq320 4 pot brembos and the two piece rotors are black diamond 320x32 but they did need a specially machined spacer ring on the back of the bell to offset the rotor. The wheels arent the best make but it was a real struggle to find alloys where the spokes cleared the big brembos and that wasnt motorsport derived yet still the wheel offset had to be machined to get them back as close to the favoured vauxhall offset but leaving just enough calliper clearance. nightmare really!

No i doubt the sump will stay that colour lol, or the rest of the underside for that matter but i will try my best.

Really fantastic examples of calibras you guys have

Sorry for the late reply but works getting in the way a little.

Very few people have the drive to achieve that quality of finish. Some others are here as well as you. As one who doesn't, I just look at it in admiration and envy.

The sump should really be black or silver to increase the heat dissipation.

V6 steve!!! U the guy that took on the 4x4 conversion?
looked at the thread and it sends a shudder down my spine as some of the pics gave me flash backs of the hard work thats involved in which seems a good idea at first, lol. Shame its no longer with us.

Yeah im hoping to hit the shows next year. going to join the club so i can park with all of your bob on calibras and get to know you guys a little :D.

Going to post a few pics of my interior in next few days as too much of my time was spent faffing around with that bit too :|
