performance cams

Was just wondering if anyone has had anything to do with these?

Is it something worth buying and fitting or just not worth the bother.

They don't have a name. What you see in the ad is what I have. I had a Kent cam in my nova and loved that, that's why I'm thinking about putting them in my cally. Just not 100% sure if these are gonna be any good.

Ping a PM to Phantom (Andy)

I think he may have after non gen cams in his throttle bodied XEV.

If no joy pop the post on the FB page and I'll tag him on it.

Well worth asking someone who has done a similar mod.

XEV's are not popular for engine tuners. I have been told that the reason for this is the angle of the inlet & exhaust ports does not encourage good flow at high rpm, so squeezing more power from them is difficult.
Also £99 for a pair of cams is cheap & you usually get what you pay for. Piper charge several times this, although they don't make a pair for the XEV.

I have Piper cams in mine, they are something like 276 degree which I'm not sure what stage this would equate to now

Piper do cams for the XEV!

if you don't know what they are don't touch them

also look at the QED website if you want some inspiration

Odd that I couldn't find them.
£450 + VAT for an extra 10hp sounds about right. Anything less would probably bring problems.
Engine upgrades are very expensive per hp increase. Sadly it is usually cheaper to buy a faster car.
