And the old and the new side by side. Will finish the remaining switches when I get more LED's. For anyone interested I ordered 3mm Flat Top 120 deg spread.

Which resistor size did you use?

Very welcome.

If you've never done this mod before here's a link to a nice "How to..." on the other site that shows the orientation of some of the switches you'll encounter.

Thanks BigDaz.

I must admit I've had a really good run of things. No rust to contend with body wise and mechanically a sound and reliable engine with everything where and as it should be.

Been cleaning up under and around the bonnet of late with the odd oil/filter change and radiator flush thrown in. I'm reasonably confident I've addressed the oil leaks and the engine bay has cleaned up considerably. Spent a little time wrapping the wiring loom in places so well pleased. I'm almost certain however I will need a new sump as this one has been tapped oversize and what little thread remains is barely holding the plug. Minor issue though in the grand scheme of things...

Did the basic paperclip test and had 0 codes... only 31 crank sensor with engine not running. Onwards...

I think that is the only colour option unfortunately. I would prefer all black and minus the advertising tbh.

Understand - will be good to see how they look anyhow, you might be surprised... If you're really unhappy with them you could spray them up?? Saw it done on a few TV programs - though never done it myself
