Highland Tour 2018 (11th of August)

As most of you's know last year we had arranged a run over the Applecross Pass as it had been a few years since we had done our last Highland Tour.

Sadly the run wasn't the fun affair it was suppose to be as we had lost our Chairman and good friend Stephen Davies a couple of months before. Stephen had wanted to do another run for some time as he always loved going up the Pass, so in his honor we laid a plaque at the car park on the summit.

I intend to do another run on Saturday 11th of August this year to lay down some flowers at Stephens memorial plaque. After that we will be travelling to Inverness to stay over night and then this year instead of coming down the East coast was thinking of driving down the Great Glen back towards Fort William before heading home on the Sunday.

There is a few of us already booked into the Premier Inn at Inverness West, Glenurquhart Road, Inverness, IV3 5TD. I know not everybody will want to stay over at Inverness but at least you have the chance to book into the same hotel as us if you wish to join us or at least get close to us.

So far the names below have already booked, i would love to see more join us. When it gets closer to the date i will post up more details right now I am just trying to gauge some interest. Just so yous know you don't need to bring a calibra on this run we had guys with us last year that weren't in the club but knew Stephen and wanted to come with us.
