Like you said tho, whos ganna rip up the carpet to find out, Could be anywere??? ( ben should know)
Will be uncovering the cali tomorrow so ill double check the plaque thing. Mine did come with a little packet with the gold coloured letters for L E inside it .. infact, i gave some of them to a guy on facebook who had the L E letters missing..
Im sure the gold L E NO** were small stickers stuck on the plaque??
From what im seeing her, it seems im now confused!! Is the whole plaque covered in a sticker??
Very interested in finding this out now LOL
Can't understand where gold enters the equation and I can't understand why it is confusing.
The NN number on a stick on label is the LE number and the NNNN etched into the plaque isn't. Simples.
A correct plaque is as per Rich's post on the previous page 4. The sticker is oval and only covers the NNNN number.

Re: Calibra Turbo LE register (FAO all LE owners)
What i meant gregdj is , i always thought the letters and numbers were all individual stickers ( gold/ silver in colour ) as both my cars had a small batch of these numbers and letters stuck onto a piece of paper in the dash box .. Mine were gold coloured on white paper.
Sort of worded it wrong before tbh.. It seems what im seeing now is the 2 numbers were 1 sticker! Maybe the dealers supplied the spares for some of the owners in case they rubbed off..
No big deal tbh, just curious !

I can't see any dealer supplying spare numbers. At that location they should never have been subjected to wear and the dealers did not have access to spare numbers as a part number.

My car ( no50 ) is in getting a full respray done right now. Been wanting to get this sorted for the last 2 years since buying her. Everything else is pretty much sorted and this is the last big job!

P123 BNR is number 17
I just spoke to one of the previous owner's, who now owns number 43 and 2 v6's, sorry I don't remember much more still shocked I managed to track down the number of mine so easily! He is doing a track day at donington I think soon in one of his red v6's.
