KENNY,
sorry to be a pain. I took the blanking plate off and hey presto there`s a 3 pin connector behind it,is that correct so far. After taking the covers off the back of the haedlights there`s no fitment for the bulb.Does it look like i`ll have to buy some 16v headlights

ther ewill be a plastic blank plug at rear of the light..just take that out, not sure if it has to be cut out or just pops out...then get the conections from a 16v calibra headlight...the wirles also and you should fine the conector in the negine bay ..you will also need he relay from the fuse box ...conect it all up and there you go front foglights
<!--QuoteBegin-ecosseM+--><div class='quotetop'>(ecosseM)</div><div class='quotemain'><!--QuoteEBegin-->been there and done it with my SE4. once you fitted headlights with fogs in them, its honestly, a 10 min job.
parts needed are;
2x headlights
1x front fog switch
1x front for relay.
whole job from start to finish should take, max, 2 hours.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
I love it... a 10 min job that should take, max, 2 hours... like ALL DIY jobs then

Ok, so when you say "once you have fitted the headlights",does that mean i will need some 16v headlights.If so any idea how much i should pay for a s/hand set,and whereabouts in the engine bay did you find the wires & connections (if you did that is!!),are they taped up somewhere as kenny said.P.S.How much did you pay for the relay & the switch.
Thanks for the reply by the way.

knocking sound????
Hi Lads (and Ladettes) I've got a similar problem, I've found the connectors behind the switch blanking plate, ive even founf the bulb holder and relevant wires inside the light cluster but here's the catch ONLY IN ONE FECKING SIDE, looks like whoever has owned the car before me has had to get a new light cluster for the offside which has all the connectors wires and bulb holders for the fog light, but the original light cluster on the near side doesn't anyone got a near side light cluster with a fog lamp holder and connector in it??? Oh and while I'm at it, anyone got a front fog switch and relay?

Just in case anyone was still interested in this topic I have found out that you need specific front light clusters which include the fog lamp wiring and bulb holders inside them the ones (which I have now replaced) on my SE1 had no wiring or bulb holders and the fog lamp lens was silvered off. So to clarify you cant modify a light cluster which doesn't have the fog lamp bits in it.
