I don't know squat about the v6, but its allways worth trying to read the fault codes yourself first [img]/smile.gif[/img]
if you go to alans site <a href="http://www.topbuzz.co.uk" target="_blank">www.topbuzz.co.uk</a> there is a guide there to reading the ecu fault codes.. I've known people go to vaux who cant find anything wrong, then read out fault codes this way, its like vaux dont even bother to test it..

I'd start by working out why your ECU light is coming on, cure it, then start pouring the money into modding [img]/smile.gif[/img]
After that, it depends on whether you're after looks or performance?
If the light is coming on and off, it is probably storing the codes which you can read as mentioned above. Is the car actually showing any signs of problems, or is it just the light you're seeing?
