remove the battery without setting the alarm off?
Oh its a standard vauxhall alarm.

Most alarms have a bypass of somesort, either a switch that's fitted inside the car, or a key-switch on the actual alarm unit itself.

Other than that, jam the alarm sounder with cotton wool, rags etc. and wrap it in a jumper or something [img]/smile.gif[/img]

"If the vehicle's battery is disconnected (e.g. for maintenace work), the alarm siren must be deactivated as follows: switch the ignition on and off, disconnect the vehicle's battery within 15 seconds."
